Dr. Rose will discuss with
you a normal, healthy, well rounded diet - with special emphasis
on reducing the total amount of fat to 20% of your daily calories
and reducing complex carbohydrates such as breads, pasta's, etc..
This diet is not a fad diet. It
does not require you to eat five coconuts in the morning, eighteen
grapefruits at lunch and a monkeys uncle for dinner!
It is an easy-to-follow, common
sense diet which must become your basic eating style for the future.
Remember, at some point we plan
to wean you of the medication, and maintain your goal body weight.
We achieve this by offering indefinite visits at no charge, for
when you need advice or a nudge in the right direction, and the
option of resuming the program at any time.
